Like all of the families that become a part of my "photography family", the Farmers are just wonderful folks.
The oldest boy is the same age as mine, and I just loved seeing him interact with his mama. It was touching and sweet because it reminded me of me with my Jack. And big brother was so loving and tender with his little brother... Oh my goodness, they really were just the sweetest family. Besides all that, Mom and Dad were a blast to hang out with - fun-loving and witty. It really makes what I do seem less like a "job" and more like a privilege!
See? Precious. What an awesome family!

Aubrey Is One | Chattanooga Child Photographer
A close friend of mine had a little girl just a few weeks after my last baby and asked me to do their 1-year portraits of sweet Aubrey. Since my own youngest had turned one a few weeks earlier and I was still an emotional mess about it, I jumped at the opportunity to capture some amazing images for them.
Now, I've known sweet Aubrey since she was born and she is truly one of the most beautiful little girls I've ever met. Such a doll.
Now, not only was this a big deal because Aubrey was turning the big O-N-E, but also because she had something very, very exciting to tell the world...
Squeee! That's right! She's got a baby brother on the way! Aaaah! I can't wait to meet him!
Little Miss, when you get used to the idea, I know you're going to be a wonderful big sister!
Love you, Aubrey - and that crazy momma of yours, too!

Carpenters | Chattanooga Family Photogpraher
I, first of fall, have to admit to being VERY behind in my blogging. Like, a year. That's pitiful and I know it.
Oy. I'm going to try to fix that. Promise.
Anyway, I had the absolute pleasure a month or so ago of working with this amazing family. Honestly - I had such a great time with them. They asked if they could bring their family dog along and she ended up being one of the best, most well-behaved pups I've ever seen! Then, the oldest girl floored me with her child-whispering abilities to the point where I'd hire her as a nanny if child-labor laws didn't exist. And then - (yes, there's more!) - the not-quite-2-year-old demonstrated the ability to count well past 20. Not regurgitate numbers in order - actually count. Guess who taught him? His child-whispering older sister. Amazing.
Wait, did I mention they're absolutely adorable also?
I'd hate them, honestly, if they weren't so likeable.
What an awesome family. Dudes, I love my job.
